What it is

Consulting is not an audit

An audit is a systematic analysis with a report at the end. Consulting is something else: a private session where we look together at the technical state of your project and the specific problems you bring me, and I give you direct guidance on resolving them.

You do not leave with a document: you leave with technical judgement applied to your situation and the steps to take. If what you need is the full report with everything assessed, then what you are looking for is an audit.

What gets covered

Any technical aspect of SEO

The session adapts to whatever the project needs that day. The most common topics:

  • Rendering and SEO in JavaScript, frameworks and headless architectures
  • Status codes, redirects and migration planning
  • Performance and Core Web Vitals
  • Robots.txt, sitemaps and crawl control
  • Manual actions and drops after algorithm updates
  • Hreflang and international SEO
  • Internal linking and architecture
  • Server configuration: Apache and nginx

Confidentiality

What is said in the session stays in the session

I work under strict confidentiality: I do not share information about the projects I work on and I do not use your domain as a reference without written authorisation.

You can present the ideas and implementations that come out of the session to your client as your own or your company's. That is the norm when the person hiring me is an agency, an independent consultant or an in-house team that needs occasional technical backup.

How it works

How to get the most out of an hour

Almost all of it comes down to what arrives prepared.

  1. Context in writing

When booking, tell me the specific problems, the type of site and what you have already tried. The more context, the less session time goes on catching up.

  2. Access, if possible

If you can share Search Console or Analytics beforehand, I arrive with the diagnosis half done.

  3. The session

An hour looking at your case live: what is happening, why, and what to do at each point.

  4. Follow-up questions

Reasonable questions that come up while implementing what we discussed, I answer by email.

FAQ

What people ask before hiring

How is this different from an audit?

An audit is a full analysis of the site with a detailed report and a priority matrix: a multi-stage process with a deliverable. Consulting is a session to resolve specific questions, sanity-check decisions or spot particular problems live.

Do I need to prepare anything?

The more context you give me when booking, the better I can prepare. Write down the specific problems you want to solve, the type of site and any relevant data.

Can I use it white label?

Yes. You can present the recommendations from the session as your own or your company's; I do not appear in any document or communication towards your end client.

What if an hour is not enough?

Preparing the context well is what helps most. If the problem is large and does not fit, you can book another session; and questions that come up during implementation I answer by email.
