Subdomains in SEO
Do you want to know how subdomains work in SEO? How they can affect your website’s positioning in search engines?
What is International SEO?
This branch of SEO focuses on positioning a website that aims to rank in different geographic areas and/or in different languages.
To do this effectively, you need extensive knowledge of how hreflangs work and the different language configurations:
- By parameters.
- By domains.
- By subdomains.
- By directories.
Additionally, you need to understand the different markets you are targeting, how servers work, and whether you need a CDN.
It is crucial to understand that everything affecting one language version will ultimately affect the others, both positively and negatively. Therefore, you should only consider internationalizing a project if you have the necessary resources in terms of time and money to do it successfully.
For this, it is advisable to rely on a team with experience in this type of SEO.
