What I can do for your site
As a freelance technical SEO specialist, this is where I can help:
Advanced SEO
Deep audits and strategy built around the project, not around a checklist.
I work on SEO at the highest level and I have been through all kinds of companies and sectors.
I adapt the SEO to your circumstances and to what your business actually needs: there is always more than one route to the goal, and the right one is the route your team can sustain.
Web development
SEO, code, conversion and performance in the same hands, with no middlemen.
I have a web development background and I move across several technologies.
That allows an all-in-one approach: SEO, code, conversion and performance handled together, instead of three vendors passing the blame around.
Tailored training
Sessions pitched at your team’s real level, with changes they can ship the same week.
I adapt the sessions to your team’s level so they can apply the right implementations and strategies in record time.
I also teach on the Technical SEO Master and have experience in training programs such as the BIGSEO Master, BIGSEO's Armada Digital, or the Asdrúbal SEO Master.
Additionally, I have experience as a speaker at prominent industry events like the WAW Congress, various WordCamps across Spain, eCongress Málaga, Brighton SEO, and Andalu-SEO.
Web performance (WPO)
Custom-coded fixes. No generic plugins, nothing swept under the rug.
I understand exactly what happens while a page loads and what happens in the user’s browser, not just what a tool’s score says.
I code what your site needs: real, bespoke fixes instead of stacking plugins that fight each other.

What I work with
It is common to find SEOs who depend on plugins and cannot work outside WordPress. Technology should be chosen for the project, and SEO should not constrain that choice. These are the layers I work across.
Front end
- Next.js
- React
- Vue.js
- Angular
- Gatsby.js
- Vanilla JS
- CSS3
Back end & CMS
- WordPress
- Laravel
- Symfony
- PHP
Server
- Apache
- Nginx
- .htaccess
- Logs
Formats & protocols
- XML
- robots.txt
- HTTP
- Multimedia
I have left out analytics and audit tools: any professional SEO is expected to handle those. This list only covers what touches rankings directly.
Who is Carlos Sánchez, really?
I am from Cartagena (Murcia, Spain) and I am 32. I have always been a curious person: I started programming at 13 and soon after took that to the web. For a long time I saw it only as a hobby, because I was afraid of losing my taste for it if I turned it into a job.
At some point knowing how websites worked stopped being enough: I wanted to know how you get someone to find them. That is, after all, what most websites are for.
That led me to SEO, specifically as an intern at a German software company in 2016. I have not left the field since.
My professional experience combined with a development background lets me understand how websites and search engines really work.
I learned everything on my own and ran into a lot of misinformation: there is plenty of SEO content out there, but getting technical SEO right is another matter.
What I hope for you, reading this, is to save you part of that learning curve so you do not waste time on the noise.
After years in the field, including a spell founding and running my own agency, I have now taken the step of working on my own as a freelancer. It is how I get to practise this discipline exactly the way I like it.

Sharing what I learn
I do not like the word “influencer”, but I am actively involved in sharing knowledge on social media, especially on LinkedIn.
I share real cases and advanced topics because I noticed that almost all public SEO content is aimed at beginners. Search has been a profession with very experienced people for years now, and there was barely anything for that audience. That is what my blog is about too.

Why hire me as a technical SEO specialist
I solve complex crawling, indexing, performance and architecture problems. The approach combines technical fundamentals with a business perspective.
Proven experience
I have shipped advanced technical work on real projects, from bespoke builds to WordPress, with direct impact on traffic and revenue.
Precise diagnosis
I find the bottlenecks: JavaScript that breaks indexing, badly built links, slow loads, mishandled canonicals. I diagnose with data and act precisely, not with off-the-shelf fixes.
Real technical depth
I know how a search engine behaves at the server, HTML, redirect and JavaScript level. I audit logs, configure servers, debug markup, work with HTTP headers and fix rendering broken by JS frameworks.
Business focus
I do not do SEO by checklist. The technical work is aligned with the goal: acquisition, conversion, local or international visibility.
Continuous learning
I take an active part in the community, both learning and sharing. I follow algorithm changes and new technology — Core Web Vitals, SSR, crawl budget — and apply them with judgement.
Reliability
I meet deadlines, document the work and communicate clearly, which is what matters when coordinating with development, marketing or business teams.
What you can expect
- Deep technical audits with prioritised recommendations.
- Measurable improvement in Search Console, logs and organic traffic.
- Support during implementation: I do not hand over a report and vanish.
- Conversations that work for both technical and non-technical people.
My track record
Companies and projects I have worked with over the course of my career.
And many more.
